What is EverFi@Work 4.0?

EverFi is constantly improving our adult financial education platform based on user feedback, partner feedback, usage patterns, industry trends, and emerging research on effective financial education strategies. EverFi@Work 4.0 is our latest product release featuring exciting visual updates, new content & tools, and other functional enhancements to improve the user experience.

What’s new?

  • Action Plans: Research shows that financial education is most effective when coupled with opportunities for consumers to put their learning into practice. In an effort to encourage positive behavior change, EverFi has added Action Plans to the end of many modules. The Action Plans are designed to help users take positive steps toward better financial health.

  • New Visual Design: EverFi course designers updated the look and feel to feature a more modern visual design that today’s web users have come to expect. The new style applies to the Main Menu, Login/Registration page, and all course content pages.

  • Additional Resources & Tools: This release features new budgeting tools and additional opportunities for your organization to connect users with customized resources (website links, etc.).

What has changed about course content?

  • Shorter Modules: EverFi’s curriculum designers shortened several modules to increase user engagement and provide more targeted, just-in-time learning experience. In some cases, longer modules were split into two shorter modules.

  • Improved Mobile Support: While the existing course indeed supported mobile devices and tablets, we have improved our support for the latest mobile devices to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience for today’s busy, on-the-go adult.

  • Enhanced Customization Options: EverFi has the ability to insert custom content screens into each module. This release features even more options for these customizations. Please note that there may be an additional charge for these customizations, so ask your Account Manager for more information.

How has the educational content changed?

EverFi has shortened some of our longer modules by dividing content into two shorter modules, providing a more targeted learning experience. We have also added two entirely new content areas to the platform. With this release, our content library expands from 17 to 22 modules:

  • Course content changes (audio and on-screen text) were limited to those that address regulatory changes or expand upon existing content to provide a more thorough learning experience

  • If your organization has campaigns containing older modules that have been split into two new modules, then that campaign will now feature access to BOTH new modules.

Will existing user data be impacted?

No. All existing user data will be accounted for, including:

  • Registrations

  • Module Completion

  • Knowledge Check Scores

  • Poll Results

  • Custom Registration Field Data (if applicable)

  • Custom Survey Results (if applicable)

If a learner has completed a module that is now divided into two modules in EverFi@Work 4.0, the learner will receive completion credit for BOTH modules in the new user interface. For example, Savings and Investments is now two separate modules: Savings and Investing. If users previously completed Savings and Investments, their new record will indicate that they have completed both modules.

As an EverFi partner, what do I need to do to prepare for this launch?

These updates are included in your subscription and will seamlessly go live with no action needed on your part. From a technical standpoint, your Account Manager will take care of all of the details for you. If your organization has any marketing collateral that features course screenshots, you may want to update those visuals to reflect the new design. This is also a great opportunity to let users know about the new topics that are available!

What browsers and operating systems are supported?

EverFi supports the latest versions of the following browsers and devices:

  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE 11

  • Devices: Mac and PC laptop or desktop computers; iOS and Android mobile devices.

Do users need Flash or an updated Flash player?

No. Flash is not required to view the content.
